Team de Weerd achieved a remarkable feat during the Morlincourt-Noyon pigeon race on June 15, 2024, in section 2 “Brabant 2000”. Three of their pigeons performed exceptionally well against a field of 7555 pigeons, securing impressive positions: first, second, and seventh place.

The winning pigeon, NL23 – 9366047 (V), flew to first place. Her parents come from distinguished bloodlines: her mother is “NL19-1729760”, bred by Lambrechts / Dirk van Dijck, and her father is “B19-6246997”, bred by Eric Berckmoes. Notably, her father is a full brother of “B19-6246904”, from super breeding couple “Anel x Hafo Witteke”.

The pigeon that secured second place, NL23 – 9366263 (M), also has an impressive lineage. His mother is “B19-6246904”, bred by Eric Berckmoes, and his father is “Wout” “B20-6176555”, from the Dr. de Weerd Pigeons breeding line.

The pigeon that achieved seventh place, NL23 – 9366665 (V), shares the same parents as the second-place winner: “B19-6246904” and “Wout” “B20-6176555”.

What makes this result particularly special is that all three winning pigeons share common parents or grandparents. This not only highlights the quality of their bloodlines but also the expertise and dedication of Team de Weerd in breeding and training top-performing pigeons.
